What is an electric cable highway?
Electric Cable highways are the smart way to make the roads energy-efficient. It helps the moving vehicles to provide electric energy, using overhead power lines.
The move will benefit electric vehicle users, providing the electric energy to the battery while running on the e-highways. It will increase the range and reduce the range anxiety.
First Electric Highway in Germany
Meanwhile, the technology was introduced in Germany back in 2019. The country already has electric highways for vehicles. It provides energy to the hybrid trucks while on run.
